Emma Stone gave Julie de Libran‘s design a sleek styling sensibility for the 2026 Oscars Nominees Luncheon in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The “Bugonia” Oscar nominee, and two-time past Best Actress winner, wore a long-sleeve black minidress look with a plunging neckline from Julie de Libran’s spring 2026 couture collection. The base of the dress’ neckline featured a feminine rosette, while other elements of the dress, including the fabric contrast between the dress and the lapels and hip pocket flaps, offered some suited styling inspiration.

Stone’s dress was paired with sheer black tights, and she wore a strappy pair of black Aquazzura sandal heels to complete the look. As for accessories, the actress went minimalist, opting for her refined, understated sartorial statement as the centerpiece of her luncheon look.
When it came to glam, Stone’s former pixie cut grew out to a shaggy auburn bob, with choppy strands of hair to frame her face. The actress’ makeup included highlights like bold brows, lined eyes and a pop of color with a neutral pink lip. Stone often collaborates with stylist Petra Flannery on her red carpet looks.

Julie de Libran’s spring 2026 couture collection made its debut as part of Paris Couture Week last January. “In this collection, de Libran said she wanted to celebrate savoir-faire, couture, friendship but also beauty, intimacy and the strength of women,” Lily Templeton wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“For sure, there were craft-intensive pieces that reminded one of patience and painstaking execution, such as a richly embroidered pajama suit, handwoven raffia skirts with hand-cut sequins or a denim tea dress with overall fringing. Each required upward from 100 hours to make,” Templeton wrote.

Stone is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her work in filmmaker, and Stone’s frequent collaborator, Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia.” The actress and previous Oscar winner is nominated at this year’s Academy Awards alongside Kate Hudson (“Song Sung Blue”), Rose Byrne (“If I Had Legs I’d Kick You”), Renate Reinsve (“Sentimental Value”) and Jessie Buckley (“Hamnet”).
