Following a sneaky reveal of some new Hollow Knight: Silksong footage, Team Cherry has officially confirmed a release window for the highly anticipated Hollow Knight sequel. The title has been the center of attention and speculation ever since it was announced to be coming this year. However, this is the first time that the dev studio itself has officially confirmed any information regarding the game’s release frame.

Writing on the Hollow Knight Discord, Team Cherry’s Marketing Director Matthew “Leth” Griffin has confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong will arrive “before HOLIDAY.” The game will not launch at the same time as the newly announced Xbox ROG Ally, as Leth goes on to clarify that the title is “not tied to a console release.”
