Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are set to revisit one of boxing’s most historic rivalries more than a decade after their first meeting. The former champions confirmed that their long-anticipated rematch will take place later this year. A new global platform will carry the event live.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will meet Sept. 19 at the Sphere in Las Vegas for a professional boxing rematch. The event marks the venue’s first professional boxing match, and organizers will stage it live.

Mayweather defeated Pacquiao by unanimous decision on May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in the “Fight of the Century.” That event generated 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and more than $410 million in revenue. It also produced a live gate of $72.2 million.

Mayweather, who turns 49 on Feb. 24, holds a 50-0 record with 27 knockouts and has not fought in a professional bout since stopping Conor McGregor in 2017. Pacquiao, 47, owns a 62-8-3 record with 39 knockouts and returned from retirement in 2025, fighting Mario Barrios to a majority draw.

“I already fought and beat Manny once,” Mayweather said in a statement. “This time will be the same result.”
