Ned’s condition raises concern

At the hospital, Portia informs the family that they’re treating Ned. But Britt cuts in, saying that Ned had a widow-maker heart attack and that he needs immediate surgery. Later, Portia confronts Britt for overstepping. To diffuse the tension, Jason takes Britt to Bobbie’s.

Laura faces political pressure

Before the debate, Ezra confronts Laura and tries to rattle her by mentioning her relationship with Sonny. Later, Martin comes in and offers his support for her. Laura informs him that Anna has been missing, which could pose political problems for her.

Trio breaks into the lab

Charlotte, Rocco, and Danny break into Dalton’s lab, expecting to find illegal animal testing. To their surprise, it’s just another regular lab. Suddenly, Dalton arrives at the lab, and the trio hides. Soon, Dalton realizes that someone is there and orders them to show themselves. Rocco reveals himself to confront him. Dalton grabs him, recognizes him as Laura’s grandson, and drags him out.

Meanwhile, Danny and Charlotte sneak out to get help. At Bobbie’s, they find Britt and Jason and inform them that Dalton was caught breaking into the lab.

Drew tries to persuade Alexis

Drew thanks Alexis for bailing out Willow and persuades her to prove that Michael is the actual shooter. But Alexis pushes back, saying that she won’t implicate Michael just because Drew wants to. Instead, she’ll do her job and bring all suspects into the light. Later, Martin drops by and backs Alexis in her decision.

Willow confronts Michael

At the Metro Court Gardens, Wiley sees his mother and runs to hug her. As Michael decides to wrap up their dinner and leave, Willow pulls him to the side and accuses him of framing her. Back at home, Michael dismisses Jacinda’s concern about his image by appearing together in public. He thanks her for everything that she has done and kisses her hand.

Meanwhile, Willow calls Drew to the hotel and discusses the case. He assures her that Michael will be the one who goes to jail.
