Katelyn MacMullen says Willow blames Michael and Nina for her arrest on General Hospital

Katelyn MacMullen reveals that Willow blames Nina for her arrest and for getting her involved in the alibi mess. This happens when the cops take Willow into custody, and she learns that her mother is also under suspicion.

In a conversation with Soap Opera Digest, she said, “I think she certainly blames Nina [for this predicament] because it’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, she roped me into this alibi and now I look so guilty when it was never my idea to lie in the first place. At the same time, Willow feels like, ‘Well, she was obviously just lying because she was trying to protect me,’ which Nina does sometimes — she steps in just in an effort to be protective or helpful. So, now it’s like, ‘How do we get out of this? This is not good!”

MacMullen earlier revealed that Willow grew visibly frustrated and angry when the cops showed up during her quality time with the kids. She felt that even if they had to arrest her, they shouldn’t have done it in front of the children. The cops arrested Willow after they discovered a gun in her room at Liz’s place.

She pleads her innocence, insisting that someone is trying to frame her for attempted murder, and it could be Michael. Previously, she hadn’t necessarily suspected him, but discovering that someone had planted the gun made her doubts grow.

“But once she realizes there was a gun planted in her room and that Michael had just come to visit her to set up that meeting with the kids — she is absolutely sure that it was Michael because who else would set her up? And it was his grandfather’s gun, too! So, yeah, at that point, she’s convinced it was him,” she explained. She mentions that Michael’s new move to frame her character has made their relationship hit a new low.
