Hailee Steinfeld stepped into the Tamara Ralph fall 2025 couture show in Paris on Monday wearing a sharp pair of black velvet Christian Dior pumps — a classic footwear choice that added polish to her otherwise ornate ensemble.

The “Sinners” star’s shoes featured a soft velvety finish and a softly scooped vamp, anchored by a thin, high heel that appeared to measure approximately 4 inches. Their closed-toe silhouette, which was free of ankle straps or visible embellishment, offered a clean, uninterrupted line from the toe box to the heel. The simplicity of the pumps balanced the more decorative elements of the look, serving as a grounding detail against the heavy beading and architectural cutouts of her dress, with their signature red soles peeking out as she walked the carpet.

The gown, designed by Tamara Ralph for the fall 2024 couture collection, was fully embroidered in silver crystals over a sheer base. Long sleeves, a high neckline and a short train gave the look structure, while three cutouts at the chest, midriff and waist introduced negative space. Each cutout was trimmed in embellishment and fastened with a black velvet bow, acting as a visual anchor that broke up the shimmer without interrupting the line of the dress. In contrast, her latest front-row outfit turned toward classic contrasts — cool silver and black, maximal embroidery and minimal accessories.

The black pump is a silhouette Steinfeld has revisited multiple times throughout 2025. At the NFL Honors in February, she wore a similar pair with a strapless midi dress. For her “Sinners” press tour, she also favored pointed toes, including Rodo heels in Mexico City and flame-detailed stilettos for the London premiere.

Steinfeld, who is often styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, kept her accessories minimal, opting for drop earrings that echoed the crystal embroidery. Her hair was slicked back into a center-parted bun, and her makeup stayed neutral — a restrained beauty look to match the precision of the shoes.
