Is Ginny & Georgia Season 4 renewed or canceled by Netflix?

Netflix officially renewed Ginny & Georgia for a fourth season in May 2023, alongside its Season 3 renewal.

On February 24, 2025, the show’s Instagram account confirmed that the Season 4 writers’ room had begun work, stating, “First day of the season 4 writer’s room!!! Based on today alone season 4 is going to be a RIDE.”

Although there is no official release date for Season 4, the previous seasons suggest a two-year release gap. Season 1 debuted in 2021 and Season 2 followed in 2023. Netflix will premiere Season 3 on June 5, 2025. Following the show’s release pattern, fans expect Season 4 to arrive in 2027.

Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry will return as Georgia and Ginny. The expected cast also includes Diesel La Torraca (Austin), Scott Porter (Paul), Felix Mallard (Marcus), Sara Waisglass (Max), Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Raymond Ablack (Joe), and Nathan Mitchell (Zion), among others. Sarah Glinski, who replaced Debra J. Fisher as showrunner, continues in this role for Seasons 3 and 4.

The plot for Season 4 remains under wraps. Creator Sarah Lampert previously said she had Seasons 3 and 4 “all planned out” before the renewal. Season 3 explores Georgia’s arrest for murder and its impact on the Miller family. Season 4 will likely continue the story from that fallout.

The series’ long-term future remains undecided. Former showrunner Debra J. Fisher told The Hollywood Reporter that she and Lampert originally pitched the show as a four-season story. “We know what we want the end game to be. We know what we want the last episode to be,” Fisher said.
