Aditi Ashok was the top-placed Indian at Tied-58th spot after the first round of the Aramco Championships golf tournament in Las Vegas.
She carded 2-over 72.
Among other Indians, Avani Prashanth, Diksha Dagar and Pranavi Urs were way down. Avani and Diksha carded rounds of 3-over 75 to find themselves at T-71 while Pranavi carded 4-over 76 to put herself at T-90.
The projected cut is set at 2-over par and this puts Aditi on the brink while the rest are in danger of an early end to their week.
The leaders after the first round were Miyu Yamashita and Nasa Hataoka of Japan, along with American Lauren Coughlin. All three carded 5-under 67.

Sudarshan Yellamaraju tied 31st after Rd1 of Texas Open
India-born Canadian golfer Sudarshan Yellamaraju opened with a roller-coaster three-under 69 to be tied-31st at the Valero Texas Open here.
The leader at the end of the first day was Mark Hubbard. He carded seven-under 65 after starting his round on the front-nine.
Yellamaraju started his round with three straight birdies on the 10th, 11th and 12th before dropping shots on the 15th and 18th. He picked another birdie on the 17th hole.
On the front nine, the 24-year-old started with two birdies before dropping shots on the fifth and seventh and closing the round with a birdie on the ninth.

Bogey free Kochhar lies ties second in Japan, Jeev makes cut
Karandeep Kochhar, one of the stalwarts of the Indian Golf Premier League, fired a second straight bogey-free round and was one shot off the lead with a six-under 65 at the USD 2 million International Series Japan.
Kochhar (67-65) is 10-under at the Par-71 course.
The only other Indian making the cut was the legend Jeev Milkha Singh (72-69), who produced a late birdie on the 17th to squeeze inside the cut line at 1-under.
Kochhar, who had three birdies and no bogeys on Day 1, had five birdies and no bogeys in the second round. In the second round, Kochhar parred the first five holes and then birdied the sixth and the eighth before adding four more on the 11th, 13th, 14th and the 16th.
The other Indians who failed to make the cut, including Gaganjeet. Bhullar (73-74), Shaurya Bhattacharya (75-69), Jyoti Randhawa (80-69) and SSP Chawrasia (77-79).
In the first round, Kochhar started on the tenth and parred his first nine holes. In his second round, he had four birdies for a 4-under 67 and was in the Top 10.
