Days after the New Year, news broke that content creator Kristy Scott filed for divorce from husband Desmond Scott after 11 years of marriage. In her filing, Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason for their split and noted that there is no chance of reconciliation for the pair.
Weeks later, influencer Brynne Marie announced her separation from Mario Mirante. The pair, who were together for nearly two years, cohost the “Pretty Funny” podcast.
TikToker Jess Val Ortiz announced her own breakup from Alexei Mitchell in late January, sharing a video that showed the two sides of a split. WeWoreWhat fashion influencer Danielle Bernstein, meanwhile, revealed days later that she called off her engagement less than one year after the proposal. In February, Mikayla Nogueira shared that she and husband Cody Hawken had split. The next month, Sara Buckley announced that she and Sterling Buckley split after 21 years together.
