After IT: Welcome to Derry wrapped up its first season in December, there have been no announcements regarding a renewal for a second season, but HBO is finally breaking its silence.
According to Casey Bloys (via Deadline), the future of Welcome to Derry is “not in limbo at all.” Rather, executive producers Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti are “hard at work” figuring out potential storylines for season 2. If they come up with a worthy idea, then Bloys will absolutely renew the series.
