Mariah Carey just debuted the first live performance of her new single!

The 56-year-old singer performed her song “Type Dangerous” live at the 2025 BET Awards on Monday night (June 9) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Mariah was seen posing backstage with DJ D-Nice after the performance. She received an Ultimate Icon Award during the event!

Last week, Mariah launched her new musical era with “Type Dangerous.”
