Mark Zuckerberg Sat in Prada’s Front Row at Milan Fashion Week

At any given fashion week, buzzy guests are to be expected in the front row at runway shows. In recent seasons, the usual crowd featuring the entertainment ilk (K-pop idols, internet stars, and actors who have struck deals as “friends of the house”) has increasingly come to include the tech elite. Last month, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, attended Jonathan Anderson’s debut couture show for Dior. Then today, seated front row aside the white-carpeted runway at the Prada fall 2026 womenswear show in Milan, were Meta chief executive Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan.

The couple, who were both dressed in Prada, arrived shortly before the show began in the company of Anna Wintour and Eva Chen, the director of fashion partnerships at Instagram. Seated next to Miuccia Prada’s son, Lorenzo Bertelli, they observed as messy-haired models in the brand’s signature pointed slingback heels clomped past. Zuckerberg—who has spent the last several years updating his wardrobe—wore a taupe long-sleeved knit polo and dark brown slacks, while Chan sported a navy skirt and a gray crewneck sweater. They both wore the house’s chunky lug-soled loafers.

After the show, Zuckerberg shared a carousel of photos from the event with the caption, “Thanks to Prada for having us in Milan!”

Their appearance comes eight months after Meta announced that it would be developing AI-equipped “smart glasses” with Prada and Oakley, both of whom produce their eyewear as licensees through the ocular giant EssilorLuxottica. Meta has been working with the eyewear conglomerate since 2019; since then, they’ve launched Ray-Ban Stories in 2021, and then the Ray-Ban Meta in 2023, whose second iteration hit markets last year, with updated AI screen capabilities.

A luxury fashion show is a departure from Zuckerberg’s activities of the last week, when the CEO testified in a Los Angeles courtroom in a landmark trial challenging the addictiveness of social media. When Zuckerberg and his team showed up to court wearing camera-equipped Meta glasses, Judge Carolyn Kuhl threatened to hold them in contempt of court since filming was not permitted. The trial was Zuckerberg’s first time appearing before a jury. This week was his first time attending a runway. It has certainly been a busy February for the Meta CEO.
