It looks like HBO’s Harry Potter series is leaving no stone unturned when adapting the first book, The Philosopher’s Stone. Showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod are paying attention to even the most minute details that make the story so beloved and popular among its fandom. From casting choices to small events that were overlooked while making the movies are being covered and another such character was seen in a new set video.

A new set video has been making the rounds on social media that shows another scene of the Wizarding World celebrating the downfall of Lord Voldemort, as we see a Wizard sitting atop a terrace. Per the book description, it’s more than likely Dedalus Diggle, a member of the Order of the Phoenix who “never had much sense,” per Professor McGonagall. Previous set videos have shown that fans might get to see the sequence of Dark Lord killing the Potters on the dark Halloween night when Harry was left as the Boy Who Lived. While the books start with the celebration of the downfall of Lord Voldemort, the movies leave that part out. So getting a glimpse of all the events leading to Harry’s 11th birthday will be a cherry on the cake for fans worldwide.

What Do We Know About ‘Harry Potter’ Series?

The filming for the first season is taking place in England, and with it comes numerous set images and videos. Fans were treated to the first look at the Weasley family at Platform 9 3/4th and Nick Frost’s Hagrid on London streets. Furthermore, we have seen Dumbledore (John Lithgow) with characters who have never shared the screen during the main Harry Potter saga before, like Nicolas Flamel (even though he appeared in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald) and his wife, which will bring a new spin to the ending of the first season. Speaking of his character before filming began, Lithgow hinted at his approach, revealing:

“You know, Dumbledore is — he’s kind of the nuclear weapon. He only goes on very, very occasionally. I don’t think it’s gonna be that hard a job, and, we’ll just go back and forth.”

The series cast Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Bel Powley as Petunia Dursley, Daniel Rigby as Vernon Dursley, among others.
