Samuel L. Jackson has a new series in the works at Paramount+!

On Thursday (June 5), it was revealed that the 76-year-old actor is attached to star in and executive produce an upcoming Tulsa King spinoff series that will be set in New Orleans.

Tulsa King centers around New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone, just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.

Keep reading to find out more…The upcoming spinoff series, currently titled NOLA King, will be set up by a guest starring appearance by Samuel in season three of Tulsa King, sources told Variety.

Exact plot details for the spinoff are being kept under wraps, aside from the fact that Samuel would lead the series as character similar to Sylvester‘s.

While a premiere date for season 3 of Tulsa King hasn’t been announced yet, it has been revealed that three actors have been promoted to series regular status and four stars are joining the cast.
