Stephen Baldwin is celebrating daughter Hailey Bieber‘s huge business deal.

Back in May, Hailey, 28, announced that her beauty brand Rhode has been acquired by e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. in a deal worth $1 billion.

While appearing on The Adam Carolla Show, Stephen, 59, sang his praises for his daughter.

Keep reading to find out more…“It took her three years,” Stephen said. “What, did you think that was just some rotten tomatoes journey?”

“The cool part of it is she’s super smart, smart in business,” he continued. “Succeeded as a model prior to everything she’s doing now. But the cool part was she actually had an offer to do something pretty big and cool in the cosmetics a couple years ago and didn’t.”

Stephen went on to say that Hailey has created products that she would use herself so that the brand “wouldn’t just be B.S.” where she simply “put her name on it.”

“The reason it’s succeeding is people are responding to it,” he noted. “It actually works as hydration and all of that.”

Stephen – who is also dad to 32-year-old daughter Alaia Baldwin Aronow – said that he prefers to let his daughters do their own thing career-wise.

“I let my kids do what they’re doing,” he said. “And if they want to throw a boomerang at me, I’ll call them back.”

“I’m blessed that my two daughters married two great guys,” he added.

Stephen also insisted that no matter how much money his kids make, family comes first.

“The sweet part of my kids, too, is, in the wake of whatever their success is, their dad remains the same,” he gushed. “I’ve always been the same way. You know you’re going to tell your daughter the truth.”
