Leave it to Stray Kids’ Felix to be ahead of the next big beauty trend. The K-pop rapper attended the F1 Grand Prix of China in Shanghai as a guest of Mercedes. And while the F1 Paddock is perhaps not the first place you’d look for makeup ideas, Felix happened to have one of the most coveted lip colors, the perfect shade for the winter-to-spring transition.

Felix represented Mercedes with a jacket but gave the look his own flair by pairing it with leather pants. He also highlighted his sense of style with his glam. He tied his signature blonde hair in a ponytail with some loose face-framing layers. He kept the makeup light for the most part, opting to go freckle forward and highlight the eyes with trendy rectangular glasses with silver hardware. Instead, the focal point of the look was his ultra glossy cool-toned lips. Though still a subtle neutral, the slightly dark undertones of the shade lend itself to the major beauty trend.

Cool-toned lips have become popular this year thanks to an upsurge in Y2K aesthetics, like grunge makeup, and TikTok. Content creators and commenters alike have chronicled their search for true cool-toned lip glosses, making them highly coveted shades, and Felix’s pick is the perfect inspiration.

It’s not a shock that Felix would be on top of the latest beauty trends. The Stray Kids member has spoken about being inspired to experiment with his style before, and he’s actually been doing cool-toned makeup styles for quite some time to match his hair.

But, that’s not the only aesthetic he can rock. The idol also did the warm-toned orange blush trend last year too. And earlier in the week, on March 10, Felix was in France for Paris Fashion Week. There, he attended the Louis Vuitton show in a look with a completely different vibe. He wore a Plazacore fuzzy cardigan, distressed jeans, and carried the LV monogram east-west bag. He slicked his hair back, letting the long strands fall back.
