United’s 2-1 home win over Brentford on Monday left it third in the Premier League standings, 11 points clear of sixth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion with four games remaining. With the top five teams qualifying for next season’s Champions League, United needs two more points to confirm its return to Europe’s elite competition after a two-year absence.
“He’s (Carrick) an amazing coach, I’ve said this many times,” striker Sesko said after scoring his 10th league goal of the season against Brentford.
“He’s brought different energy. Also the way we’re doing in the training, it’s unbelievable and of course, I would like to have him here.” Carrick, who took charge on an interim basis in January after Ruben Amorim was sacked, has received public backing from United players including Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo.
Experienced Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has scored nine Premier League goals this season, including the opener against Brentford.
“He’s (Casemiro) a working machine,” said Sesko. “What he’s putting on the pitch is unbelievable. You need someone like this.”

Manchester United interim head coach Michael Carrick said the rapid turnover of managers in the Premier League will not affect how he approaches the job and he remains focused on the bigger picture at the club rather than his own future.
Liam Rosenior’s departure from Chelsea on Wednesday marked the 10th managerial casualty in England’s top flight this season.
Carrick, who took over at United in January following the sacking of Ruben Amorim, said there was a balance to be struck between short-term success and building for the future.
“There are two sides to it,” the 44-year-old told reporters on Thursday.
“There are instant results and the next game being important, but there’s definitely a responsibility, our thinking of what the future looks like and the bigger picture.
“There are all sorts of what-ifs in this world. Half full, half empty? I like to live my life in a positive way. I don’t think of what could go wrong, that doesn’t come into it. It’s what can be achieved. What success looks like.”
United has impressed under Carrick, winning eight and drawing two of its 12 matches to sit third in the league. Six points from its remaining five games would secure Champions League qualification after a two-year absence.
United next faces Brentford on Monday.

Michael Carrick said he loves managing Manchester United but is not “chasing” an answer on his future as the club closes in on a Champions League spot.
United’s former midfielder was appointed as head coach until the end of the season following Ruben Amorim’s acrimonious exit in January.
Carrick has masterminded wins against Manchester City and Arsenal during an impressive spell that has lifted United to third in the Premier League.
But he still has no clarity on his future.
“I’ve said it many times, I enjoy being here, I enjoy the role I’m in,” Carrick said on Thursday, ahead of Monday’s home match against Brentford.

“We’ve had some good results and we’re in decent shape. I think there’s a lot (of the season) to go, we still want to keep improving, there’s layers that we want to get to, really. I’ll see, you know.
“I keep saying the same things every week. There’s only so much I can say in terms of that, but I’ve said it many times.
“Again, I enjoy being here, I love being here. It’s a real privilege to be in the position I am but thriving with the responsibility that we’ve got.”
The former England international, 44, said he was unsure when he would get clarity over his future.
“Genuinely it’s not something in terms of deadlines that I’m really chasing. I think it’ll become clear when it’s going to become clear.”
