Earlier in the week, there were reports about Salman Khan collaborating with Excel Entertainment for the first time on a big budget period saga. And it turns out, the reports are true. According to very reliable sources, Salman Khan is in advanced talks with Excel Entertainment for a period film which will be helmed by National Award Winning director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

A source shared with Bollywood Hungama, “Salman Khan is looking to sign on for big projects and believes that the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra film will do justice to his larger-than-life aura. He has heard the script and was bowled over by the characteristics of his part. He will be playing one of the most popular characters from Indian History and will undergo a complete makeover of his body structure.”
The source tells us further that Salman is yet to sign the dotted lines, and the discussions are happening on multiple fronts with Excel Entertainment, especially the shooting days, and remuneration. “If all goes well, Salman will kick-start shooting for the film by Summer 2027, right after calling it a wrap on the Raj and DK directed superhero comedy,” the source told Bollywood Hungama further.
More clarity on the project will be out towards the end of this year, as Salman needs his time before making an informed decision, but at the moment, he is excited to embark on this challenging journey of playing a warrior from Indian history.

इंटरनेट डेस्क। बॉलीवुड के दबंग स्टार सलमान खान को पान मसाला कंपनी के कथित भ्रामक विज्ञापन से जुड़े मामले में राहत मिली है। नेशनल कंज्यूमर डिस्प्यूट्स रिड्रेसल कमीशन ने कोटा उपभोक्ता आयोग में चल रही कार्रवाई पर अंतरिम रोक लगाकर सलमान खान को राहत दी है।
कमीशन की ओर आए इस फैसले के बाद फिलहाल सलमान खान को हस्ताक्षरों की एफएसएल जांच के लिए कोटा नहीं आना पड़ेगा। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 22 जून को तय की गई है। आपको बता दें कि इसी मामले में राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालय भी 27 मई को संबंधित आदेश पर स्टे दे चुका है।
हाईकोर्ट में मामले की अगली सुनवाई 14 जुलाई को तय है। मसाला कंपनी की ओर से पैरवी कर रहे अधिवक्ता राकेश सुवालका ने इस सबंध में जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि कोटा उपभोक्ता आयोग में सलमान की ओर से प्रस्तुत वकालतनामा और जवाब पर किए गए हस्ताक्षरों को लेकर याचिकाकर्ता अधिवक्ता इंद्रमोहन सिंह हनी ने आपत्ति दर्ज करवाई थी।

The Bombay High Court on Thursday observed that access to social media does not give individuals the right to publish content that may defame others, whether they are private citizens or public figures. The observation came during the hearing of a dispute involving actor Salman Khan and his neighbour, Ketan Kakkad, over a property matter in Panvel.

A single-judge bench of Justice Sharmila Deshmukh was hearing an appeal filed by Salman Khan. The actor has challenged a civil court order that refused to grant him interim relief in a defamation suit against Kakkad.
During the proceedings, the Court indicated that parties should avoid taking their disputes to social media platforms and instead seek remedies through appropriate legal forums. The Court also suggested that Kakkad consider removing tweets and YouTube videos related to the dispute. The Bench expressed concern over the continued circulation of such content online. It observed that valuable judicial time should not be spent examining whether such videos should remain available on the internet.
The Court further noted that even if the content had been uploaded by third parties, steps could be taken through intermediaries to have it removed. The matter has now been posted for further hearing on July 6.
The dispute relates to adjoining properties in Panvel, where Salman Khan owns a farmhouse. Kakkad has alleged that Khan violated environmental norms and blocked access to his property. He has also claimed that he approached authorities regarding the issue but no action was taken.
Following this, Kakkad posted tweets and participated in YouTube interviews discussing the dispute. Salman Khan subsequently filed a defamation suit against these statements. According to Khan, the posts and videos shared by Kakkad are defamatory and communally provocative.
It was submitted before the Court that the videos contained false, speculative and inflammatory material. The submissions also stated that the content included references allegedly intended to provoke communal sentiments against the actor.
The Court was informed that the content had received significant online engagement and viewership. The defamation suit also names several social media platforms as parties, including Facebook, X, Google and YouTube.
Khan has claimed that Kakkad’s allegations emerged after authorities cancelled a proposed land transaction involving a plot adjacent to his farmhouse on the grounds of illegality. According to Khan, Kakkad then began making allegations that the cancellation had been orchestrated by Khan and his family.
Kakkad has opposed the defamation suit. He has argued that his statements are based on facts concerning Khan’s property and do not amount to defamation. It has also been contended that Khan, being a public figure, has already placed details of his property in the public domain.

He explained to Farhan about creative differences being a common thing in the industry for decades, and he also had a long chat with Ranveer, understanding his stance. He is playing the cupid to ensure that no one feels sabotaged.”
The source further informs that Salman also informed both parties to think as one industry, and work on another project together, once the heat of this debate settles down.
Both Farhan and Ranveer have taken the words from Salman Khan seriously, and are thinking to come together and amicably arrive at a solution without creating a controversy. He doesn’t want any legal turbulence between Ranveer and Farhan, nor does he want the film bodies to take any uninformed decision. Apparently, he has asked the two to sort out their differences without involving any third party, which includes himself as well.
Salman is standing by Farhan for the losses, and also pushing Ranveer to start a new project to capitalise on the historic success of Dhurandhar.

सोमवार को मुंबई में सुपरस्टार सलमान खान के गैलेक्सी अपार्टमेंट से एक सांप को बचाया गया है। तस्वीरों में एक सांप पकड़ने वाला मौके पर सांप को संभालते हुए और सावधानी से अधिकारियों को सौंपते हुए दिखाई दे रहा है। बचावकर्मी की मदद के लिए अधिकारी भी अपार्टमेंट पहुंचे।
बचाया गया सांप
सांप पकड़ने वाले को अपार्टमेंट के नीचे सांप मिला, जिसे उसने कुशलता से अपने हाथों से पकड़ लिया। उसने शांति से सांप का पीछा किया, उसकी पूंछ पकड़ी। बचाव के दौरान उसे अपने हाथ पर लपेट लिया और फिर उसे अधिकारियों को सौंप दिया। जिस तरह से सांप को पकड़ा गया, उससे पता चलता है कि वह जहरीला नहीं था।
