A three-day Michael Jackson fan-event is set to take place in Germany this weekend to celebrate “the man and the movie.”

The multi-day celebration, which will take place at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, will include the international premiere of the movie on Friday night as well as talks with the cast and crew, an “interactive” installation and photo op and a dance party on Saturday evening.

“To celebrate the theatrical release of the highly anticipated biopic ‘Michael,’ the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany is transforming into an immersive world dedicated to the man and the movie,” a description of the event reads on ticket site AXS. “Join MJ fans around the world for this Global Fan Celebration — a tribute to his music, his creativity, and the timeless magic he shared with the world.”

The interactive Global Fan Experience, which will be open on April 11 and 12, will also include costumes from the movie, which stars Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson as the controversial singer.

The ticket site does not specify which members of the cast and crew will be attending the panel on Saturday. The Saturday evening event, titled “Get On The Dance Floor: The Michael Jackson Party,” is limited to over-18s only. The Global Fan Experience does not appear to be age-restricted.

Tickets, which are free, are still available for the Global Fan Experience on the weekend, but the panel talks and dance party have sold out.

Variety understands the event is an official collaboration between Universal Pictures, who are distributing the film internationally, and Jackson’s estate. Universal Pictures International is billed as the promoter of the event on the ticket site.

“Michael,” which comes out on April 24 in the States and April 22 in Europe, charts Jackson’s rise to superstardom. But, as Variety revealed this week, after extensive reshoots it now ends at the height of his career rather than the nadir, after the singer has been publicly accused of child molestation.
