Heather Locklear appears to have nothing but positive vibes for ex-husband Tommy Lee.

The Uptown Girls actress, 63, “liked” a video Lee, 62, shared via Instagram on Saturday, August 10, that featured the Mötley Crüe drummer playfully hitting his wife Brittany Furlan’s butt.

“Bad pool boy!!!!” Lee captioned the video. “There were too many leaves in the pool this morning you are fired!!!”

Locklear and Lee were married from May 1986 to 1993. In a 1987 interview with Rolling Stone, Lee shared that the pair met at an REO Speedwagon concert and he later got Locklear’s phone number from the brother of his accountant — a dentist who happened to know the same dentist who treated Locklear.

Locklear proposed to Lee in 1986, just three months after that meeting, the pair told People at the time. The couple married on May 10, 1986, in front of 500 guests, but things between the two quickly dissolved after Lee’s numerous infidelities came to light.

“F**king with porno stars ruined my marriage,” Lee told the Mirror in June 2023.

Lee moved on with Pamela Anderson, who he was married to from 1995 to 1998, and was engaged to Sofia Toufa from 2014 to 2017 before meeting Furlan, 36, in 2017. Lee and Furlan married in 2019 after two years of dating. In 2023, she told People that she and Locklear have a great friendship — and that she knows she will never quite stack up to her husband’s former flame.

“Heather and I are very close. She’s awesome, I love her,” she explained. “I think she’s the most kind, down-to-earth person. We met through Tommy, obviously, and became close. She’s just very cool, very nice, just supportive and just a cool chick all around.”

She continued, “There’s a lot that goes on that I don’t share publicly that kept that from happening, [but] she’s very, very nice, so I’ve managed to have a relationship with her and I am so grateful for that. She tells me funny stories. Everyone glorifies his relationship with Pam [Anderson], but he was married to Heather for [nearly] eight years!”

When talking about Locklear, Furlan admitted that her husband’s ex-wife “was the love of his life.”

“I see it, because she’s just a fun, sweet, caring, awesome person,” Furlan explained. “Tommy even says he messed up in that relationship. He cheated on her. To this day, that’s why they’re still really good friends.”

The actress and former Vine star even said that she sometimes gets frustrated with Lee about how he treated Locklear.

“I yell at my husband, I’m like, ‘I can’t believe you cheated on her. She’s so cool,” she said. “That was a different time. He was 25 years old, 26 years old. Not to make excuses, but he’s a very different man now from all those years ago. You live and you learn.”
