However, Gloria Cerullo could leave General Hospital again. This is because of a stern order issued to her and Lois by Brook Lynn Quartermaine.

Moreover, Travolta’s Gloria was reintroduced to the series very recently, on May 30, 2025. In recent times, Gloria has made short returns to General Hospital. She returned on November 23 and left on November 29 in 2023. Then, in 2024, she appeared on May 15-17 before departing. She then arrived on March 11, 2025, and departed on March 14. As such, due to the possibility of this pattern repeating, Gloria could very well leave General Hospital again.

In the June 3, 2025, episode, Gloria expressed joy at Gio Palmieri‘s return to his family. However, Gio told her he was only there to grab his things and leave. Lois told Gio that she understood his anger and reminded him that Brook Lynn had nothing to do with his current situation, and she did not know he was her son. Gio then turned his attention to Brook Lynn, asking if the latter was forced to give him up during his infancy.

Brook Lynn tells Gio that giving him up for adoption was her decision and that she did so out of love. Gloria then tells Gio that they got him a good mother in Camilla. Gio then mentions how Camilla did not tell him about his true parentage even as she died. Lois then mentions that she had urged Camilla to keep Gio’s parentage a secret.

Upon learning of this, Brook Lynn was shocked and angered, noting how she could have helped Gio following Camila’s passing. She then coldly ordered Gloria and Lois to go back to Bensonhurst.
