मुख्यमंत्री के नाम पर सड़कों के विकास के लिए शुरू की गई सीएम ग्रिड योजना के निर्माण कार्य एक ही बारिश में बह गए। बसई मंडी से इंद्रापुरम और इंद्रापुरम से अमर होटल तक सीएम ग्रिड की निर्माणाधीन सड़कें के बारिश में धंसने से 12 कारें और वैन पलट गईं। तीन से चार फीट तक धंसीं सड़कों के गड्ढों में वाहन फंस गए, जिन्हें शाम तक हाइड्रा मशीन मंगाकर निकलवाया गया। गड्ढों में वाहन गिरने से कई लोग घायल हो गए। बारिश के कारण नाले उफनाने से सड़कों पर दो फीट तक जलभराव हो गया।

सीएम ग्रीन रोड इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट (सीएम ग्रिड) योजना के तहत नगर निगम ने काम शुरू कराया है। बसई रोड से इंद्रापुरम रोड तक के हिस्से में 10 फीट गहराई पर यूटिलिटी डक्ट, सीवर और पानी की लाइनें बिछाई गई हैं। लाइनें बिछाकर मिट्टी और गिट्टी बिछा दी गई। पार्षद दीपक वर्मा ने बताया कि सोमवार रात की बारिश में सड़क पानी से लबालब हो गई।

सुबह कार चालक यहां से निकले तो वह पानी भरा देखकर गड्ढों को भांप नहीं सके और इनमें फंसते चले गए। करीब 12 कारें और वैन इन गड्ढों में फंसने के बाद पलट गईं। गनीमत रही कि चालक बाल-बाल बच गए। उन्हें क्षेत्रीय लोगों ने जैसे-तैसे बाहर निकाला। पूरी सड़क दलदल में तब्दील हो गई।

टोरंट की मरम्मत वैन, कचरा उठाने वाली गाड़ी भी फंसी

दलदल में बदल गई सड़क पर टोरंट की मरम्मत वैन और कचरा उठाने वाली गाड़ियां भी फंस गईं। टोरंट पावर की टीम इंद्रापुरम में फॉल्ट ठीक करने के लिए जा रही थी। अचानक चारों पहिये धंस गए। वैगन-आर कार यहां गड्ढों में फंसकर पलट गई। इसमें सवार तीन लोगों को क्षेत्रीय लोगों ने बाहर निकाला, उन्हें मामूली चोट आई।

नगर आयुक्त ने देखी सड़कों की दुर्दशा

नगर आयुक्त संतोष कुमार वैश्य ने ताजगंज क्षेत्र में सीएम ग्रिड के काम की दुर्दशा देखी। उन्होंने कहा कि बारिश के कारण सीएम ग्रिड के विकास कार्य प्रभावित हुए हैं, उनकी प्राथमिकता के आधार पर मरम्मत कराई जाएगी। जिन स्थानों पर सड़क धंसने से गड्ढे बन गए हैं, उन्हें तत्काल भरकर यातायात के लिए सुरक्षित बनाया जाए। इस दौरान चीफ इंजीनियर अरविंद श्रीवास्तव और अवर अभियंता कृष्ण गोपाल मौजूद रहे।

ताज से किले के बीच पांच जगह धंसी सीवर लाइन, थम गया ट्रैफिक

ताजमहल के पास पुरानी मंडी से शाहजहां पार्क के बीच नमामि गंगे योजना के तहत बिछाई गई सीवर लाइन वाला हिस्सा बारिश के बाद धंस गया। पुरानी मंडी से किले के बीच पांच जगह 15 फीट तक चौड़े और 4 से 8 फीट गहरे गड्ढे हो गए। इससे रोड पर वाहनों का आवागमन रोक दिया गया। ताजगंज निवासी राजेश राठौर ने सुबह सड़क जगह-जगह धंसी देखी तो बैरिकेडिंग लगाकर वाहन चालकों को सतर्क किया। जलनिगम के नमामि गंगे प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर आरपी सिंह ने बताया कि बारिश के कारण सीवर लाइन वाले हिस्से में मिट्टी धंसी है। ठेकेदार को सड़क की मरम्मत और बैरिकेडिंग कराने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
