#Gnabry #confirms #FIFA #World #Cup">Gnabry confirms he will miss FIFA World Cup 2026 Bayern Munich and Germany forward Serge Gnabry confirmed on Wednesday he will miss this summer’s FIFA World Cup with a thigh injury.
On Saturday, Bayern announced Gnabry was set to miss “an extended period” due to an adductor injury, with German media speculating it would rule him out of the 2026 tournament.
The 30-year-old said he would not play again this season, ruling himself out of the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“The last few days have been tough to process. A Bayern season which still holds much to play for after securing another Bundesliga title on the weekend,” Gnabry wrote on social media.
“As for the World Cup dream with Germany. That’s sadly over for me.
“Like the rest of the country I’ll be supporting the boys from home. Now it’s time to focus on recovery and getting back for pre-season.”
The former Arsenal player has been a regular member of Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann’s squad. He has scored 26 goals in 59 appearances for his country.

#Compton #Taylor #Lewan #treat #NFL #draft">Will Compton and Taylor Lewan want to treat you during the NFL draft
It is NFL draft week which is all kinds of exciting.
As the week unfolds each and every team across the NFL will have hope hanging in the balance. They will be on the clock, execute a pick, and fans all over the world will convince themselves (perhaps rightfully so) that a new dawn has arrived.
Before any of that can fully happen though the team has to make the pick while they are on the clock as noted. Those can be some tense moments for fans. Waiting to find out what a team will do is sometimes agonizing.
Bussin’ With The Boys’ Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are going to be in Pittsburgh to take care of that. Bud Light has an activation in place in Pittsburgh and when a team is on the clock their keg across Bud Light’s wall of them will be lit up. At this point they can receive a beverage, assuming they are 21 or older obviously.
Compton and Lewan were kind enough to join SB Nation to discuss the venture and expressed great excitement for the upcoming draft at large. Taylor was a first-round pick when he joined the NFL, but Will had to grind out life as an undrafted free agent so the duo knows the full run of how the NFL can go.
The activation in question will be set up outside the Bud Light Beer Hall and will kick off when the first round does. Will and Taylor will be on-site on Thursday to help fans in attendance get their drinks when the proper time comes.
Interestingly Compton grew up a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and yours truly had to ask all about this obviously. Compton noted that he and his Dad would emulate the Cowboys when he was growing up and they would play together, and that when he wound up on Washington’s team as a professional it was difficult to put emotions aside when playing against America’s Team.
Perhaps those emotions will rise up for Compton when Dallas is on the clock on Thursday night. At the moment the Cowboys have two first-round picks so he will have multiple opportunities.
