The domestic violence charges against 90 Day Fiancé star Veronica Rodriguez and her fiancé, Seth Daryoushfar, have been dropped, Us Weekly can confirm.

North Carolina court documents obtained by Us revealed that the charges were dismissed on Monday, January 12. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup claimed that the case was dropped after the couple refused to testify against each other.

News of the case’s dismissal comes one month after the couple was arrested and booked into a North Carolina jail. Us confirmed at the time that they were released on bond following their initial arrest on December 15. Rodriguez, 40, reportedly paid a $500 bond while Us can confirm that Daryoushfar, 38, paid $2,5000 ahead of his release.

Rodriguez was facing a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported last month after allegedly using “physical force” against Daryoushfar, 38. She was also accused of “striking him in the face.”

Daryoushfar, meanwhile, was charged with “assault on a female,” according to the docs obtained by Us. “Seth held/grabbed Veronica causing scratches to her wrists and thighs,” The Ashley report read in December 2025.

Rodriguez made her reality TV debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2019. That same year, she appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk as well.

Nearly three years later, Rodriguez returned to the franchise to appear on 90 Day: The Single Life in 2022 alongside ex-boyfriend Justin Foster. Rodriguez and Forster broke up during an episode of the TLC show that aired in October 2022.

Following their split, Rodriguez briefly dated 90 Days franchise alum Kim Menzies’ son Jamal. She went public with Daryoushfar in January 2025.

“2025 is off to a sweet start,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, debuting her romance to fans.

Rodriguez and Daryoushfar were engaged by September 2025.

“On my 40th birthday in Venice, Seth gave me the most unforgettable gift,” Rodriguez told Us Weekly exclusively at the time, breaking the news of her engagement. “He asked me to spend forever with him. We’re beyond grateful for this moment in our story and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding in early 2026 with the people we love most.”

Daryoushfar proposed to Rodriguez while the pair were on a gondola during their travels in Italy.

Rodriguez’s last Instagram post with Daryoushfar was shared on December 14, one day before their arrest.

“2025 was the best year yet!” she captioned a video showing off their love story. “Can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us.”

Rodriguez has yet to share any other updates on their relationship or social media posts since then.

Prior to their legal drama, Rodriguez was not shy about sharing a glimpse into her and Daryoushfar’s love story.

“From the very beginning, being with each other has felt like home. What started as two people getting to know each other has grown into a love we couldn’t have dreamed up better if we tried,” Rodriguez captioned a September 2025 Instagram post, offering more details about their engagement. “Through every laugh, challenge, and adventure, our bond has only deepened … and now, we’re so proud to say yes to forever.”
