Milan’s Emporio Armani Restaurant to Host Indochine Pop-up During Fashion Week

FOODIES’ WEEK: The Emporio Armani restaurant in Milan is gearing up for the upcoming fashion week with a special tie-up. The location will host the first pop-up of New York’s culinary institution Indochine for the occasion.

From Feb. 25 to March 2, the Emporio Armani restaurant, which is nestled in the city’s Via Manzoni, will be revamped to mirror Indochine’s look, with the interiors slated to feature elements ranging from the large green banana leaves motif on the walls to distinctive floral arrangements. The menu will also be revisited to include some of Indochine’s signature dishes.

The French-Vietnamese restaurant, which through the years attracted the likes of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Madonna, Mick Jagger, Keith Haring, Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep and Leonardo DiCaprio, was one of the late designer Giorgio Armani’s favorite destinations during his stays in New York, said the fashion company on Thursday.

As part of the project, the Armani/Privé club will also undergo a themed takeover, while the tome celebrating Indochine’s 40th anniversary will be available to purchase at the Armani/Libri bookstore.

The initiative adds to a busy week for the Giorgio Armani company, which will present the fall 2026 collections of both its namesake brand and the Emporio Armani label.

As per the preliminary schedule released by Camera Nazionale della Moda on Thursday, the two Emporio Armani shows will take place on Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. CET at the Armani/Teatro venue. As reported, starting this season, the label will embrace the coed format and stage shows during Milan women’s fashion weeks only.

The Giorgio Armani fall 2026 women’s collection will be unveiled with two shows on March 1, slated for 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. CET and will be held at the company’s Via Borgonuovo location.

The upcoming fashion week will also see the debut of Maria Grazia Chiuri at Fendi on Feb. 25, as well as the first fashion shows of Meryll Rogge at Marni and Demna at Gucci on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27, respectively. Undergoing a moment of transition after the sudden exit of Dario Vitale, Versace doesn’t appear on the preliminary schedule, confirming a WWD scoop on Dec. 17. Ditto for Alberta Ferretti, which will present its fall 2026 collection with a runway show staged in Dubai on Feb. 1 as part of the local fashion week, as reported.
