Addison Rae’s father was reportedly arrested for exposing himself in public last year.

TMZ reported on Thursday, February 17, that Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, was taken into custody on July 27, 2025 in Louisiana following an alleged incident that took place in August 2024.

According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Lopez was accused of “exposing his genitals, pubic hair, in a public place or place open to public view, or in any prison or jail, with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appealed to the prurient interest or was patently offensive.”

Lopez was reportedly charged with felony obscenity and a sex crime. His bond was listed as $2,500. He has pleaded not guilty. Lopez’s next hearing is scheduled for March 19.

In addition to Rae, Lopez is father to sons Enzo, 18, and Lucas, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Sheri Easterling. Lopez is also dad to daughter Macye Neumeyer, whom he welcomed in a previous relationship.

Lopez and Easterling wed in 2004. They divorced years later but eventually remarried in 2014. Rae previously spoke about how her dad wasn’t around a lot during her younger years.

“From about to 3 to 6 for me … Dad wasn’t really in my life very much. I’m sure that was personal decisions on your part with Dad,” the “Fame Is A Gun” singer said in a July 2020 installment of “That Was Fun?” with her mother. “You guys, I’m sure, kind of established that, like, ‘Hey, we’re gonna need some space. We need to have our time to figure things out.’”

Easterling and Lopez called it quits for good in 2022. Following news of their split in 2022, rumors swirled that Lopez was unfaithful to Easterling. While Lopez did not address the cheating allegations, Easterling spoke out about the breakup.

“Personal matters being brought public are always challenging and overwhelming for anyone involved,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories in July 2022. “I will be okay. My biggest concern is -and always will be- my children and their fragile hearts and minds. I will always do my best to protect them.”

Since then, Easterling made headlines for attending the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards alongside Yung Gravy, packing on the PDA as they walked the red carpet. Lopez later shared he wasn’t concerned with the pair’s relationship.

Lopez, for his part, has moved on with Kaitlyn Nicole Robins. The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in October 2025.

“I didn’t tell anyone,” Lopez told TMZ of his nuptials at the time. “I just followed my heart and I’ve never been happier. I love this woman!”

Last year, Rae split from boyfriend Omer Fedi after four years of dating. Amid her breakup, the influencer has gone on to establish herself as a pop star after releasing her self-titled debut album. Earlier this year, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammys, a win that ultimately went to Olivia Dean.
