Action Bronson is already one of New Balance’s most prolific collaborators, having released more than a dozen sneakers with the Boston-based sportswear company since 2023. And now, they’re taking the partnership to the next level with the release of the rapper’s first signature sneaker.

Following a late-June teaser, Action Bronson has revealed a full look and release info for his New Balance 2811 “Mikročpske.” While each of the rapper’s footwear collaborations thus far have utilized a pre-existing New Balance design, the 2811 breaks new ground as it’s his first fully unique project. It does use a familiar cushioning setup underfoot in the form of the New Balance Abzorb 2010 tooling, but includes an all-new multi-material upper.

The Action Bronson x New Balance 2811’s debut Mikročpske colorway combines a light yellow mesh base with TPU structural overlays in dark green, black mudguard with reflective silver accents, a clear clear TPU “N” logo and a blue Baklava-branded nylon tongue. 

“I wanted to give you a first look at something I’m very proud of and a long time in the making,” Action Bronson wrote on Instagram when first teasing the sneaker in June. “I present to you my signature sneaker, the Baklava-designed 2811. This project is magic. To be able to add my own number to the NB brand is a great feeling. The legacy will live on forever.”

Ahead of the wide launch, Action Bronson offered fans early access to the collaboration with a prerelease of 300 pairs at a private event Saturday in Brooklyn. Open exclusively to tri-state residents, the event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. ET and is now fully sold out.

The Action Bronson x New Balance 2811 Mikročpske is expected to receive an official release soon. The collaboration will be available from the artist’s e-commerce store, specializinginlife.com. For the impatient sneaker enthusiasts out there, a handful of pairs from Saturday’s Brooklyn event have already found their way onto eBay with asking prices beginning at $800.
