Vivica A. Fox has a new shimmering sandal formula, and it starts at the toes.

At Kurt Geiger London and Tina Knowles’ Mother’s Day luncheon in Los Angeles on Friday, Fox brought back the same geometric white pedicure that cut through her crystal René Caovilla sandals at the American Black Film Festival Honors in February. This time, she paired it with a pink crystal style from Kurt Geiger, giving the repeat detail a sweeter, more confectionary finish without losing the graphic snap that made it register the first time.

Fox’s sandals came in a metallic blush fabric covered in crystals, with enough shine to keep them in the sweet spot between party heel and dress sandal. The pair had a square open toe, a skinny pink strap across the front and a higher silver crystal strap that curved diagonally over the foot. A slim ankle strap closed with a crystal buckle, and the heel tapered into a narrow shape with just a slight flare at the base. Her white pedicure showed through clearly at the front, with the triangular design adding a graphic hit against all the pink sparkle.

Fox kept the rest of the look in the same sugary, high-gloss mood. She wore a pale pink short-sleeve crop top and matching high-waisted shorts, both finished with mirrored embellishment and cutwork tracing the hems like jeweled eyelet. She carried a crystal-covered pink Kurt Geiger shoulder bag from the Mother’s Day collection that echoed the same candy-shell sparkle as the shoes, pulling the whole look deeper into the brand’s hyper-feminine Mother’s Day palette.

The luncheon celebrated Tina Knowles’ Mother’s Day campaign for Kurt Geiger, which centers on a run of exclusive pink handbag styles, including the crystal-covered Kurt Sling Bag Fox carried.

The look also lands squarely inside Fox’s recent sandal streak. Lately, she has been drawn to pairs with more visible decoration, whether that means pavé crystals, floral appliqué or a geometric pedicure that gives the whole shoe story a cleaner graphic edge. That same instinct showed up last November in New York, when she wore deep red René Caovilla heels finished with sparkling floral embellishment and the label’s signature sinuous ankle strap.
