Is Sabrina Carpenter Going to the Met Gala 2026?

Last year, Carpenter kept the custom streak going, attending the event in a pants-free tuxedo-inspired bodysuit designed specifically for her by Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton.

We know for sure that Sabrina Carpenter will be attending the Met Gala 2026, as she has been announced as a member of the event’s Host Committee, alongside Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, and more. So the question is less “will she go” and more “what will she wear?”

This year’s Met Gala theme is “Costume Art,” while the dress code is “Fashion Is Art,” and we know Carpenter can get real artsy with her looks. Ahead of the Met Gala, the star flexed her fashion muscles with a two-weekend run at Coachella 2026, complete with a fully decked-out custom Dior wardrobe by fashion darling Jonathan Anderson, secured by her longtime stylist Jared Ellner.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the first Monday in May, Ellner described Carpenter’s style as always being “feminine, timeless, and sexy.” With that in mind, it’s safe to assume the duo is already cooking up something great for the Met Gala, and we can’t wait to see it!
