Out of Sorts: We’ve launched our first ever badge for Sortable quizzes! Last month, we rolled out this new tenth quiz type, and this is your chance to get the first badge for it! There are THREE date-specific badges to earn this week:

Cinco de Mayo: Today is Cinco de Mayo! Celebrate Mexican culture and history with us by getting this badge today! Otherwise, you’ll need to wait until next year, which we assure you that you don’t want. Get 50% or more on Mexican Food by Image, Cinco de Mayo, and Mexico by Sporcle Category on May 5th.

Mother’s Day: This Sunday is Mother’s Day, which means there’s a badge for you to earn. Honor moms around the world (and in fiction) with this badge! Play 25 Literary Mothers, Mythological Mothers, Moms in the Wild, and Moms Around the World on Mother’s Day (May 10th, 2026).

Whacking Day: In addition to Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating The Simpsons on Sunday! The day where snakes get socked is May 10th. Put on some deep bass from Barry White and get yourself this badge. Play Whacking Day Hymn, The Simpsons Minefield, and Venomous or Not? on May 10.
