Winterthur, Switzerland — A 31-year-old Swiss-Turkish dual national went on a savage stabbing spree at a busy train station Thursday morning, wounding three people in what authorities are calling an “act of terror” as panicked commuters fled for their lives.

Shocking video from the scene shows terrified bystanders scattering in all directions as the attacker rampages through Winterthur station, near Zurich, shortly after 8:30 a.m. Witnesses reported the suspect yelling the Islamic battle cry “Allahu Akbar” — “God is greatest” — during the frenzied assault.

The three victims, all Swiss nationals aged 28, 43, and 52, were rushed to the hospital with stab wounds. One suffered serious injuries to the thigh, while the others had moderate wounds to the leg and neck. None are believed to be life-threatening.

Cops nabbed the suspect just minutes after the attack began. He was arrested on the spot with a bladed weapon. Zurich regional police chief Marius Weyermann confirmed the man is a local resident with dual Swiss-Turkish citizenship.

Winterthur, a city of about 123,000, has long been a hotspot for Islamist concerns, with reports of radicalization at local mosques and residents traveling to join ISIS in the past.

Authorities say the attacker acted alone and are still piecing together a full motive, but the “Allahu Akbar” chants and his history have many pointing to radical Islam as the driving force behind yet another bloody attack on European soil during Eid celebrations.

This latest horror comes as Europeans grow increasingly fed up with unchecked migration, failed integration, and repeated scenes of violence in once-peaceful public spaces.

Police have cordoned off the station, with trains disrupted and the area locked down as the investigation continues. The victims remain hospitalized.
