Late last year, Kith dropped a New York Knicks-themed Nike Air Max 95, with the caveat that only kids sizing went on sale. 36 pairs were made in adult sizes to be given out to friends and family of the brand, but Ronnie Fieg is now extending availability to celebrate the Knicks making the NBA Finals.

The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 Knicks will go up for preorder Wednesday. Greyscale suede defines the upper’s wavy stripes, three of which host a checkerboard Kith logo pattern. Knicks colors arrive through orange eyestay loops and heel “Kith Air” logo, as well as a blue Air Max unit at the heel and mini Swoosh near the lateral collar. Both colors are then used for a special Kith Air Max 95 logo at the tongue, and Nike’s NYC logo graces the insole.

Kith’s surprise preorder comes after Nike released a special-edition of the Air Force 1 Low in May also celebrating the Knicks. The sneaker was made available to purchase early exclusive at the Nike SoHo store before a wider launch and featured the same Nike NYC logo on its mustache.

Another children’s exclusive Kith x Nike Air Max 95 is expected to release this summer while adopting the famed Linen colorway from the Air Force 1 Low. Kith was previously involved in hosting the first rerelease for the AF1 Low in 2016 for the opening of its first Miami store, and Fieg has called the sneaker his favorite of all-time.

The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 Knicks will release at 11 a.m. Wednesday through a preorder on the Kith app. Because of production limitations, a drawing will be used to determine which orders can be fulfilled. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
