BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – A 33-year-old Florida woman is facing felony charges after she allegedly stripped down to her underwear, yelled at customers and residents, and spat on a Hernando County deputy’s face twice during a chaotic encounter captured on bodycam video.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a Texaco gas station on June 9 after reports of Iesha Field behaving erratically and yelling at customers.

Employees requested that she be trespassed from the property. Field then reportedly moved to a nearby mobile home park, where she removed most of her clothing and continued disturbing residents.

When deputies attempted to detain her, Field became combative. Bodycam footage released publicly shows the highly agitated woman inside a patrol car, restrained but thrashing and screaming. She is seen spitting in a deputy’s face on two separate occasions.

In response to the second incident, the deputy delivered an open-handed strike to prevent further assault. Field was arrested and charged with felony battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication.

The video, which has circulated widely on social media, depicts Field in a state of apparent intoxication, yelling incoherently while partially undressed in the back of the patrol vehicle. One segment shows her lunging and spitting directly at the deputy as he attempts to manage her behavior.

Hernando County authorities emphasized that such incidents highlight the risks law enforcement officers face daily when dealing with individuals under the influence who exhibit violent or unpredictable conduct.

Field, whose date of birth is listed as Dec. 14, 1992, was booked into the Hernando County Detention Center. Her bond status and next court appearance were not immediately available in initial reports.

This latest episode comes amid ongoing concerns in Florida and across the country about public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and attacks on police officers. Sheriff’s officials have not released additional details on Field’s criminal history at this time.
