A protective father trying to keep his little girls safe from a gross men’s room got ambushed by an angry busybody who barged into the women’s restroom and started screaming, all while the terrified kids washed their hands.

The shocking confrontation, captured on video and shared widely on X, unfolded at a QuikTrip convenience store as the dad, wearing a black T-shirt with a white cross and a light-colored cap, tended to his two young blonde daughters at the sink.

He had checked the women’s restroom first and found it empty before bringing them in, a common-sense move for a parent with small children wary of the often filthy and unsafe men’s facilities.

But an older man in a gray T-shirt and khakis wasn’t having it.“You got no business being in the women’s bathroom with your daughters!” the confronter yelled, according to the footage.

The dad stayed calm, reassuring his upset girls: “It’s alright, baby,” as one covered her face in distress. A no-nonsense female employee in a red QuikTrip polo shirt stepped in with hands on her hips, trying to de-escalate while the older man continued his tirade and later stepped outside to call authorities, and reportedly his wife, on his cellphone.

The video shows the older man pacing near the coolers, phone to his ear, demanding someone “get here soon,” while the dad and daughters eventually exit.

Online reaction was swift and overwhelmingly on the side of the father.“Good dad. The male Karen making a scene needs to be arrested,” one X user wrote.

“I’m a woman and this would not bother me at all,” another chimed in. “Good job Dad. No little kids should use the restroom alone and the men’s restroom is gross usually. He checked prior and didn’t bother anyone.”
