As you’ve probably heard, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married on Friday and summoned a firestorm of non-stop media coverage. In case you’ve had a hard time keeping pace, let this be your guide to all the most important details of the star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden.

First, the guest list, which some reports say exceeded 1,000 names. Variety reported that those who scored a ticket were sent watermarked, digital invites that came with NDAs. Those who were spotted entering MSG for the bash included Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Ethan Hawke, MGK, Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant and Camila Cabello. Other stars who made more subtle entrances include Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Paul McCartney, Sacha Baron Cohen, AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron and former Disney CEO Bob Iger. Harry Styles was invited but is currently on tour and could not make it. Sources tell Variety that Jennifer Aniston was also invited, but did not attend.

More recently confirmed attendees (via People) include Emma Stone, Stephen Colbert, Conan O’Brien, Millie Bobby Brown, Ice Spice, Brad Pitt, Gracie Abrams, Ronan Farrow, St. Vincent, Adam Scott, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rudd and Seth Meyers.

Over a dozen sources told Variety that guests were ”flying blind’ with scarce details about the wedding’s theme or dress code. Many were told simply to be in New York City the morning of July 3 and await further details.

Last year, Swift explained to TV host Graham Norton, who was also in attendance at the wedding, that she was going “huge” with the guest list to avoid any awkward omissions.

“I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble,” Swift said on “The Graham Norton Show” in October 2025. “And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”

A source confirmed to Variety that Mark Seed served as the wedding planner.

The day after the ceremony, photos circulated online of an ivory handkerchief embroidered with lace that was handed out to the wedding guests. The center of the cloth featured a stitched monogram of Swift and Kelce’s first initials, and below that read the lyric, “So it’s gonna be forever…” from Swift’s 2014 hit “Blank Space.” The handkerchief also featured the date, “July 3, 2026,” and the location, “New York City,” of the wedding.

Thanks to a since-deleted X post from AMC CEO Aron, we now have a better idea of what actually went down inside MSG. He wrote in the post, “It did not look like Madison Square Garden. Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceiling… was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pitctures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year, from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”

He continued, “A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space. Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat. Everything draped off this time in green and white. Real flowers and I think artificial three welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs. They say there were around one thousand attendees, but surprisingly, it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”

Adam Sandler served as the officiant, according to a press release obtained in the minutes following the ceremony. TMZ reported that he sang an original song for the newlyweds. The very moment Swift and Kelce said, “I do,” was broadcast to the world via digital billboards outside of MSG that read, “JUST&T MARRIED!”

The post “I do” press release also revealed several other miscellaneous details about the ceremony and wedding day looks.

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” read the release. It went on to add, “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”

“Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts confirmed Saturday morning that Stevie Nicks performed at the wedding, and described the personal concert as “really intimate.” Co-host George Stephanopoulos added, “It was as intimate as it possibly could be given it was Madison Square Garden. It was really this garden inside the Garden, which was so beautiful. It’s hard to imagine a place that big, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate.”

In the days leading up to the wedding, Swift and Kelce donated $26 million to at least 20 charities. Some of the organizations they donated to include Food Bank for NYC, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Feeding America, Grammy In The Schools, Answer The Call, Musical Mentors, After-School All-Stars and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
