इससे भी ज्यादा हैरान करने वाली बात ये है कि वसीम ने बताया कि दोनों 14 साल से अलग रह रहे थे। एक्टर वसीम ने ये भी खुलासा किया कि दोनों पिछले 14 साल से अलग रह रहे हैं। लेकिन वह किसी को भी इस बारे में बताना नहीं चाहते थे कि उनकी शादी में अब कुछ बचा नही है, यही वजह है कि किसी को अंदाजा भी नहीं था कि दोनों पिछले करीब 14 साल से अलग-अलग रह रहे थे।

वसीम ने अपने हालिया इंटरव्यू में इस बात का खुलासा करते हुए कहा कि इस फैसले को लेकर उनके मन में कोई कड़वाहट या पछतावा नहीं है। वह जब साथ थे तो साथ थे,लेकिन अब अलग हो गए हैं तो इज्जत से अलग हो गए। वसीम का कहना है कि 29 साल चली इस शादी को खत्म करने में कोई बुराई नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि मेरी दुआएं हमेशा उनके साथ हैं। वो खुश रहें, आबाद रहें। जरूरी नहीं कि कोई एक सही हो और दूसरा गलत। दोनों के पास ही अलग होने की कई वजह रही होंगी।
