Week three of Big Brother got heated during a major tea party confrontation, which we hope airs during tonight’s Veto Competition episode.

Just Jared has been keeping up with the live feeds, which have shown a lot of drama happening inside the Big Brother house during Kamu‘s Head of Household.

Because the game is constantly being played in the BB28 house, we have all the spoilers here.

As the new Head of Household, Kamu is tasked with nominating three current houseguests for eviction.

The nomination ceremony took place on Friday (July 24).

Lyric Medeiros – Nominee #1 during BB28 week 3

Lyric is back on the block in week three. Kamu spoke to Lyric and told her she was not his target. He also promised that if he wins the Veto Competition, he will be using it on her.

LaTrice Verrett – Nominee #2 during BB28 week 3

LaTrice Verrett is the second nominee this week. She is allegedly not the target.

Mallory Aurichio was Kamu‘s third nominee.

The tea party drama, explained

The Big Brother 28 tea party started as a fun gathering that took place over the weekend, but quickly became one of the most dramatic moments of the season thus far. Mallory decided to host the event, and all the houseguests attended.

However, during the backyard gathering, Kamu felt the need to confront Jason about his gameplay and accused him of being dishonest. One issue that Kamu brought up is he believed Jason had lied when he said he would not use the veto in the way Kamu wanted, and he suspected that Jason would instead use it on LaLa.

“Shortly before the nomination ceremony, I had a conversation with Jason. And I offered him a deal. I said, ‘Hey, Jason, if I don’t put you up on the block and you happen to get picked and play in the Veto comp and you win, will you allow me to decide what to do with that veto?’ And he goes, ‘Dude, absolutely.’ And I said, ‘All right, man. Well…let’s make a deal,’” Kamu said.

He continued, “We shook hands. But after you and I made that agreement, several people started to come up to me saying that you had made a deal with all three of the nominees. That if they picked you to play in the competition, you would use the Veto on them to take them down. If you were to win the Power of Veto yesterday, would you have held your end of our deal or would you have used it on LaLa like you told her you would?”

Jason defended himself, and LaLa also defended Jason. Jason also argued that, overall, he had simply been playing a strategic game of Big Brother. Jason clocked that there is clearly a majority running the house, and he is clearly not in the majority.

A major point of tension was the accusation that Jason had considered targeting specific players, while Jason argued that his approach was to keep the veteran players in the game until jury. Jason repeatedly tried to get Kamu to say who told him information about who was being targeted, but Kamu did not answer.

After the tea party confrontation, Jason turned the situation into more great television. He grabbed a tea kettle and spoon, using the moment to joke about the ongoing conflict and play into the theme of spilling all the tea.

“That’s my girl right there! That’s my girl! That’s the queen of the house! Ms. Kamu, I got you girl,” he could be heard yelling on the live feeds.

As expected, Lyric pulled herself off of the block during the Monday (July 27) veto meeting.

Jason was, as expected, named as the replacement nominee during the Veto Ceremony

Kamu nominated Jason in Lyric‘s place at the Veto Ceremony.

Now, Jason will have only one chance to save himself during the BB Block Buster on Thursday (July 30). Jason saved himself from eviction in week 2 at the BB Block Buster, and many are hoping he can pull it off once again.
