Sydney Sweeney’s upcoming portrayal of a screen icon is raising concerns for the legendary star herself, who is worried about how the movie will depict her scandalous relationship with a fellow star.

Movie star Kim Novak will be played by Sweeney in Scandalous!, but the real Novak has doubts that the film will correctly depict her relationship with entertainment legend Sammy Davis Jr. (via The Guardian):

“I don’t think the relationship was scandalous,” she says. “He’s somebody I really cared about. We had so much in common, including that need to be accepted for who we are and what we do, rather than how we look. But I’m concerned they’re going to make it all sexual reasons.”
