The Green Bay Packers travel down the third coast to take on the rival Chicago Bears on Saturday night. The Packers are 1.5-point favorites in a matchup that the teams split during the regular season. The Bears will get back wide receiver Rome Odunze, while the Packers were hoping to get wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks back from a concussion.

As for offensive skill players, the Packers look to be healthier than usual after a Week 18 game where they were able to rest starters. Josh Jacobs got some much-needed time to rest his knee, while Jordan Love got an extra week coming out of concussion protocol.

Dontayvion Wicks injury update

Wicks was able to get in limited practices this week, but was listed as questionable for the Wild Card game due to his brain injury. He then was downgraded on Friday to out and will not suit up for the Wild Card round.

Fantasy football analysis

The Packers wide receiver group is as healthy as it has been in a while, with Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs leading the way on the outside and Jayden Reed mostly in the slot. Both Reed and Watson missed big chunks of time this year with injuries. Behind them, Matthew Golden and Bo Melton along with Wicks get playing time as well.

With the Packers being philosophically run first, the target tree gets pruned plenty, depending on game flow. Wicks wouldn’t enough work to be a safe play in most fantasy games, but his absence does make it a little easier to use Jayden Reed and Bo Melton in DFS games, but it probably doesn’t move the needle all that much.

CSK pacer Khaleel Ahmed walked off the field with suspected cramps during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadim on Tuesday night.

The incident took place before the final delivery of the 17th over when Khaleel, running into bowl to Gurjapneet, pulled out of his run up, holding his right leg.

The 28-year-old attempted his run up one more time before he signalled to the dugout that he could not continue. Khaleel walked off the field, and Gurjapneet bowled the final delivery to close out that over.

Cristian Javier also recently landed on the IL, probably a good thing after his rough start. They’ll turn today to Colton Gordon making his 2026 MLB debut. So help me it’s about the Elenty billionth time in my many years of Mets fandom that they feel buried the minute they give up a run. But it’s not McLean’s fault as he looks every bit the future ace with a 2.70 ERA and 0.84 WHIP through three starts.

But he’s just not that good at this stage of career as he has an 8.36 ERA and 2.14 WHIP and it hasn’t even gotten warm yet at Coors. The F5 number is kind of high, but the Astros have really cashed on those so far this year at 13-3 with a 61.7% ROI. With this pitching matchup and the Astros hot bats, I like them to score early and often.

The Mets have gotten off to a disconcerting 7-10 marked mostly by an inept offense. So help me it’s about the Elenty billionth time in my many years of Mets fandom that they feel buried the minute they give up a run. But it’s not McLean’s fault as he looks every bit the future ace with a 2.70 ERA and 0.84 WHIP through three starts.

Yeah, I know he’s facing Dodgers ace Yoshi Yamamoto and the best lineup in MLB. But. McLean has a stellar 31.3% K% and he has 8 K’s in two of those starts. I think he puts the team on his back tonight and comes up with a big performance and at least keeps them even through five innings.
