Arriving next October! Aardman Animation & Studiocanal have revealed the very first quick announcement teaser for a brand new Shaun the Sheep movie arriving next year in October. Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is a Halloween-themed stop-motion animated movie currently scheduled to open in theaters Halloween 2026 🎃, which is why they’re revealing this first look right now, one year ahead of its debut worldwide. The film is the third stop motion animated feature film from Aardman’s globally loved brand: following Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) + the first sequel A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019) – along with other short films & series based on Shaun as well. The Beast of Mossy Bottom is about what happens when The Farmer’s pumpkin patch is trashed and Shaun tries to help figure out how to fix it in time for Halloween. “All the ingredients are in place for a monstrously fun family adventure.” This is such a fun little teaser with the pumpkin and the scary “wild beast” of Mossingham. The screenplay is written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow, based on characters by Nick Park. It’s produced by Richard Beek. Made by Aardman Animation in Bristol.
