Fans are reacting to Obsession star Inde Navarrette‘s interest in appearing in MCU movies. Recently, Navarrette said in an interview that she “would love to” do a Marvel film. All this comes after she met Jake Schreier, the director of the upcoming X-Men feature.

Interestingly, if she does get cast in a Marvel title, it won’t be her first superhero project. She previously portrayed Sarah Cortez, the wild child daughter of Emmanuelle Chriqui’s Lana Lang, in the CW series Superman & Lois.

Navarette’s active interest in the MCU has drawn strong reactions from fans. @Ankur1111AA suggested that she can play a grown-up version of Morgan Stark, the daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in the MCU. Lexi Rabe originally portrayed the character in Avengers: Endgame.

Meanwhile, @EricPellinen claimed that Navarette could be the new Rogue. In 20th Century Fox’s live-action X-Men movies, Anna Paquin portrayed the character. It remains unclear whether she is reprising the role alongside some of her X-Men cast members in Avengers: Doomsday.

@Snowyhoesmad wondered if Navarette could play supervillain Selene Gallio. Kota Eberhardt essayed the role in 2019’s Dark Phoenix. @JBE_JohnByars suggested that she should play The Wasp in a new timeline. Notably, within the MCU, there are already several iterations of the character. Evangeline Lilly plays Hope van Dyne / Wasp, while Michelle Pfeiffer appears as Janet van Dyne / the original Wasp. Further, in the first Ant-Man movie, Hayley Lovitt voices the character.

@FunnyBooksClub offered an offbeat suggestion, stating that Marvel should put a wig on her and let her play Emma Frost. As with Rogue and Selene, the 20th Century Fox’s live-action X-Men movies have already depicted iterations of Emma. In fact, two separate actresses, Tahyna Tozzi and January Jones, played the character in different movies in the series.

Amid all this Marvel speculation, DC fans have also pitched the characters they want her to play in the DC Universe. Expressing disappointment at her interest in Marvel, @Blay_Zing wrote that they “need” her as Zatanna and urged James Gunn to “do something” about it.
