There’s not one particular way to perfect your Met Gala glam. Matching the outfit can pay off. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo coordinated her baby pink makeup to her dress. Tyla chose an unconventional highlighter to go with her look. Keke Palmer went for a monochrome look. Contrast can also be key. Emma Chamberlain juxtaposed her brightly painted gown with darker makeup. Anok Yai’s gold tears popped against her black hooded dress. Alysa Liu’s halo hair deviated from her red theme for the night, adding extra dimension to the look. No matter what route the guests took, they made it clear that beauty can take an outfit to the next level.

Jisoo’s Coordinated Hair and Makeup

For her Met Gala debut, Jisoo went with ethereal glam. Her hair being adorned in shimmering pink flowers was enough of a nod to the art motif of the night, but the face-framing curly tendrils she wore loose really drove the point home. Matching her gown, Jisoo wore pink Dior makeup. The look was almost monochromatic, with her eyes, cheeks and lips all covered in dreamy pink shades, but a wash of silver on the inner corners of the eyes was the perfect touch to make the look pop, especially under the light.
