Anne Hathaway attended the “Mother Mary” premiere and after party in New York City on Monday, showcasing an evening-to-night sartorial transition, which included swapping Christian Louboutin pumps for Versace platforms.

Hathaway hit the carpet wearing Louboutin’s trendy Miss Z pump, a sleek pointed-toe style with a padded insole, low vamp and expanded toe box. Intended to be a more comfortable pump option, the French label introduced the Miss Z at the beginning of 2025, and it has since been embraced by a range of celebrities, including Ciara, Dua Lipa, Heidi Klum and Zendaya, its rumored muse, though the brand said Gen Z was the inspiration.

Hathaway opted to wear a mirror-shine metallic version of the Miss Z in a vintage rose colorway, which served as a tonal accent to her custom Lever Couture gown. The dress featured abstractly layered strips of sheer white fabric, with a high slit in the skirt. Her hair was out in a cascading straight style, and she wore jewelry from Bulgari, a brand she serves as an ambassador for.

Later, Hathaway swung to the opposite side of the color spectrum, going with a black nighttime look consisting of Coperni’s Zero Waste Draped Dress and Versace’s Aetivas platform pumps. The shoes feature a pointed toe, chunky platform, tall block heel and three thin straps around the ankle — all around a shoe look that aligned with the after-party occasion.

Hathaway’s “Mother Mary” engagement on Monday marked a break from her promoting “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” which has been keeping the actress busy traveling the world with Meryl Streep and company. For that press tour, Hathaway has so far worn clear Gianvito Rossi pumps, Alessandro Michele’s take on the Valentino Rockstud heel and more designer footwear.
