Chase Infiniti took Christian Louboutin’s signature red from the sole to the entire shoe on Saturday, arriving at the 2026 Tribeca Festival in the label’s Hot Chick Sling 100 pumps for Vulture’s “The Testaments” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” conversation at SVA Theatre in New York.

Infiniti’s slingbacks were crafted from glossy red patent leather and balanced on 100mm stiletto heels. The Hot Chick silhouette featured Christian Louboutin’s signature sharply pointed toe and a dramatically low-cut vamp that revealed more of the foot, while scalloped V-shaped notches traced the sides of the shoe before extending into a slim slingback strap. From the side, the angular cutouts created the style’s recognizable wave-like profile, and the high-shine patent finish amplified the saturated red hue against the Tribeca carpet.

While the red 100mm version is no longer listed on Christian Louboutin’s U.S. site, the house currently offers the Hot Chick Sling with a lower 70mm heel in black and blush patent leather, keeping the pointed toe and notched strap at a slightly less severe height.

Infiniti kept the rest of the look in the same fiery palette with a two-tone David Koma outfit. She paired a deep red velvet top with a coral satin miniskirt. The off-the-shoulder top featured long sleeves, visible corset seaming through the bodice and a structured peplum at the hips. Plush velvet, smooth satin and high-shine patent gave the near-monochrome style plenty of textural contrast.

She completed the look with Nadri’s Edie ring and Pebbles large drop earrings, along with Kinn’s Roselle black-rhodium round pendant diamond necklace.

Red has also been a recurring element in Infiniti’s recent footwear choices, though she has approached it differently each time. At Disney’s Emmy Season Toast in April, she paired a red Cong Tri dress with beige patent Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps, leaving the house’s red sole as the shoe’s strongest color accent. For GQ’s Met Gala after party in May, burgundy and cherry red appeared across the floral appliqués on Aquazzura’s Cherry Kiss sandals. At Tribeca, she committed to red patent across the full pointed slingback, taking a recurring accent and making it the foundation of the look.

Infiniti joined Elisabeth Moss and Lucy Halliday for the conversation celebrating “The Testaments,” Hulu’s continuation of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” She stars as Agnes MacKenzie, a young woman raised within Gilead who begins questioning the future prescribed for her.
