Prasidh Krishna has left an indelible mark in both wins of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026. After defending 13 runs in the final over against Delhi Capitals, a game which Titans won by one run, Prasidh Krishna came up with career best performance (four for 28) to wreck Lucknow Super Giants’ Innings at the Ekana Stadium on Sunday.

However, Prasidh Krishna was happy that he could contribute to the team’s win and added he tried to bowl differently from other fast bowlers and it worked for him.

“It was important for us to maintain the winning streak and we wanted to win today and we did it. I was trying to bowl a mixture of hard lengths, bouncers and off-cutters. The other pacers were trying to bowl pace on while I thought I could take the pace off the ball and it worked for me.

The pitch was quite challenging for both the bowlers and batters. They played quite a few good shots when we erred in our line and length. So, it was important to bowl at the right areas,‘’ he said.

On the trend of bowlers increasingly using short balls in the tournament, Prasidh said it was important to keep the batters guessing by mixing up the deliveries. “The batters are ready for the yorkers and it is important to confuse them. So most of us bowl a mixture of short balls and slow bouncers,’’ he said.

Prasidh Krishna added that his improved level of fitness has put him in good stead and said it was the positive vibes in the dressing room that also contributed to his success this season.

Deadspin | Shohei Ohtani’s 1st ’26 HR in L.A. helps Dodgers beat Rangers Apr 11, 2026; Los Angeles, California, USA; Los Angeles Dodgers two-way player Shohei Ohtani (17) hits a solo home run against the Texas Rangers during the first inning at Dodger Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-Imagn Images A four-run first inning for the host Los Angeles Dodgers, with a leadoff home run from Shohei Ohtani and a three-run shot from Teoscar Hernandez, keyed a 6-3 win over the Texas Rangers on Saturday night. Ohtani had not had an extra-base hit or an RBI at Dodger Stadium this season, doing much of his damage on the road. It took four pitches in the bottom of the first inning to end that drought, as Ohtani sent a Jack Leiter slider into the seats in right field to tie the game at 1. The Rangers led briefly on Brandon Nimmo’s home run two pitches into the game off Dodgers starter Emmet Sheehan. Nimmo added a two-run home run in the sixth off Sheehan, and had three of the Rangers’ four hits. Hernandez, Ohtani and Will Smith had two hits each for the Dodgers, who won their seventh game in the past eight. Sheehan (2-0) allowed three runs on four hits with six strikeouts and one walk over six innings. Andy Pages doubled home Hernandez in the eighth for an insurance run, and relievers Jack Dreyer, Tanner Scott, Blake Treinen and Alex Vesia kept the Rangers from scoring over three innings. Treinen got two outs in the ninth but allowed two runners to reach base. Vesia came on to strike out pinch hitter Danny Jansen for his first save of the season. Leiter (1-1), who looked sharp in his first two starts, got through 3 2/3 innings with five runs on five hits in his first career appearance against the Dodgers. He walked four and struck out four, after walking just two in his first two starts.
