It was a “Night of Extra” at Clarins’ Los Angeles bash on Friday, and the setting captured the spirit of the brand’s latest launch.
Held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the evening took place under soaring ceilings within the museum’s sleek, modern architecture, with Clarins amplifying the scale through a high-energy atmosphere that culminated in a performance by Maroon 5.
Adam Levine attended with wife Behati Prinsloo, while Nara Smith arrived alongside Lucky Blue Smith and Leah Kateb with Miguel Harichi. The crowd included models Candice Swanepoel and Brooks Nader, as well as actors Samara Weaving, Malin Akerman, Rudy Pankow, Thomas Doherty, Branden Cook, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Katherine Hughes, Rainey Qualley, Paris Brosnan, Leven Rambin, Greta Onieogou, Caylee Cowan, Kayla Ewell and Julie Benz.
Also in attendance was a mix of athletes, reality personalities and digital creators, including Jaxson Dart, Quenlin Blackwell, Jackie Aina, Josh Richards, Sophia Culpo and Noah Fearnley.
At the center — and on display throughout the orange-lit space — was Extra-Firming Energy, the latest addition to Clarins’ Extra-Firming line, formulated with a blend of red ginseng and niacinamide, among other ingredients, alongside the brand’s patented collagen-support complex that’s meant to promote healthy cells. It comes in refillable, recyclable packaging.
The launch follows Clarins’ recent expansion of its largest franchise, Double Serum, into complexion with the debut of Double Serum Foundation in February. Designed with a dual-chamber, two-in-one format, the foundation combines skin care and makeup, offering both treatment benefits and pigment. The Double Serum franchise is sold globally across all continents and continues to be a major driver for the brand, generating more than half-a-billion euros in annual sales.
