Cross Season 2 Trailer: Aldis Hodge’s Hit Prime Video TV Show Returns

Amazon MGM has released the first official Cross Season 2 trailer, previewing the return of Aldis Hodge in his return to the series. Cross Season 2 is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 11, 2026.

Cross follows “a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the minds of murderers in order to identify and catch them. In Season Two, Cross is in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates,” reads the official synopsis for the upcoming second season of the series.

What happens in the Cross Season 2 trailer?

The new trailer sees Cross back and dealing with more chaotic cases. This time, he’ll be trying to catch who is going after Lance Duran (Matthew Lillard), an executive that is being targeted by a mysterious person, which quickly grows into a much larger conspiracy.

Cross comes from executive producer, showrunner, and writer Ben Watkins, and is based on the characters from James Patterson’s best-selling Alex Cross book series. Cross Season 2 will debut on Prime Video on February 11, 2026, with the first three episodes. New episodes will then release weekly leading up to the season finale on March 18, 2026.

Alongside Hodge, Cross also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, and more. Season 2 of the show will also introduce new stars, including Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason and Wes Chatham. Hodge also executive produces the show, alongside Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa.
