Deadspin | Report: Wolves sign Ayo Dosunmu to 5-year, 2M deal May 8, 2026; Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA; Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ayo Dosunmu (13) against the San Antonio Spurs in the first half during game three of the second round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs at Target Center. Mandatory Credit: Jesse Johnson-Imagn Images Guard Ayo Dosunmu bypassed free agency to stay with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a five-year, 2 million contract, multiple outlets reported Tuesday. The fifth season is a player option, according to reports. Minnesota traded three-time All-Star Julius Randle to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, freeing the cash from Randle’s salary and opening a salary exception to cover Dosunmu’s bigger paycheck. Dosunmu was playing on the final season of a three-year, million contract when the Timberwolves acquired the Illinois native from the Chicago Bulls on Feb. 5. The deal sent Dosunmu, Julian Phillips and a 2031 second-round draft pick to Minnesota for former lottery pick Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller and three future second-round picks. With the Timberwolves, Dosunmu appeared in 24 regular-season games (nine starts) and averaged 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Maybe just as crucial was the strong on-court connection that he and point guard Anthony Edwards made. He was limited to 10 playoff games (four starts) because of right calf tightness that ailed him late in the season. He still was a key contributor. He averaged 15.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 29.2 minutes per game in the playoffs. For the entire 2025-26 season, Dosunmu appeared in 69 games (19 starts) with the Bulls and Wolves. He averaged 27.3 minutes, 14.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, shooting 43.9% from 3-point range and 87.6% from the foul line. –Field Level Media #Deadspin #Report #Wolves #sign #Ayo #Dosunmu #5year #112M #deal

elcome to Sportstar’s live coverage from the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group L encounter between England and Ghana in Boston on Tuesday.

The Three Lions began its World Cup sojourn with an attacking 4-2 win over Croatia in Dallas and can seal progress to the round of 32 stage with a win over the Black Stars.

Ghana, on the other hand, had to labour hard against Panama but a late Caleb Yirenkyi strike ensured the side earned all three points ahead of the tough encounters against England and Croatia coming up.

Tuesday MLB Best Bets: Two Pitching Props Worth Playing | Deadspin.com May 31, 2026; St. Petersburg, Florida, USA; Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Shane McClanahan (18) throws a pitch during the second inning against Los Angeles Angels at Tropicana Field. Mandatory Credit: Pablo Robles-Imagn Images We’ve got a rainy Tuesday on tap in parts of the Northeast so hopefully we get all of today’s games in.I’m avoiding it all and going with one prop from a dome and another from Southern California for today’s MLB Picks.Season Record 38-35-1, +0.08 UnitsRoyals at RaysShane McClanahan Under 15.5 Outs Recorded (-124 DraftKings)The Rays lefty sometimes ace has been anything but stellar lately. In his last three starts he’s lasted just 12.1 IP total with an ugly 7.11 ERA and 2.13 WHIP. Before his recent blips he was excellent, with a 2.45 ERA and 1.02 WHIP though his 15.3% K-BB% was more good than outstanding and the estimators are not enamored with his work.He has a 3.94 SIERA and 3.67 xERA on the season. Prior to this year he hadn’t pitched in MLB since early August 2023, so there’s also the question of whether he’s just run out of gas already. As far as this particular prop goes, he’s just not going far into games in either his good starts or bad ones. McClanahan has only recorded an out in the sixth in one of his last seven starts, and that was literally one out.Overall he’s gone past 5 IP just 3 of 14 times. The Royals offense isn’t the greatest and they’re missing Vinnie P and possibly Bobby Witt Jr. as well. But Jac Caglianone is on fire lately and they went off on the Cardinals last weekend so they’re hitting their stride a bit lately. There’s some juice on the under here but not enough in my opinion.
