The Fast and Furious franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the rerelease of its original movie, as well as the introduction of two popcorn buckets. The design of the collectibles is centered on Dominic Toretto, one of the franchise’s central figures.
Fast & Furious 25th anniversary popcorn bucket revealed by Cinemark
In a joint announcement, the official Instagram accounts of Cinemark and The Fast Saga revealed two popcorn buckets and one sipper. They will be released in theaters alongside the rerelease of the original movie, The Fast and the Furious.
The most notable popcorn bucket design is the black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, which is modeled after Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto’s signature car. The car’s roof opens to provide access to the container.
The second collectible is a 130oz popcorn tin with a lid. On each side of the tin are license plates. One of them is “3NTQ305,” which Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner uses on his orange 1994 Toyota Supra in the original movie. Another reads, “2JRI424,” which is Dom’s license plate. The lid also has graphics that read, “25 years of Fast & Furious.”
The third collectible is a blue, nitrous oxide (N₂O) cylinder-shaped beverage sipper. It features a gauge and valve on top, and the back of the cylinder bears a cautionary label. The label includes playful notes like “Drinking will not make you faster… but it might make you happier,” and “For human consumption only. Do not share with race cars, motorcycles, or rocket ships.”
These collectibles will be available in select locations at both Cinemark and Regal theaters.
The Fast and the Furious originally debuted on June 22, 2001. It also featured Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Rick Yune, among others. Upon release, it received a 55% approval rating from critics. Meanwhile, it went on to earn $207 million globally against a $38 million budget.
The movie will return to theaters on August 21, 2026.
