First Look Teaser for ‘The Miniature Wife’ Series with Elizabeth Banks

“Make me big again!” “The thing is…” Peacock has debuted a first look teaser trailer for a new series called The Miniature Wife, arriving for streaming starting in April this spring. A flip on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids concept or the Downsizing movie. A technological accident serves as a catalyst for Lindy and Les, a married couple, to re-evaluate their relationship’s power dynamics, leading to a dramatic showdown as they vie for control in their marriage. Starring Matthew Macfadyen & Elizabeth Banks as the couple at the center, the series examining the power (im)balances between spouses after accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis. Based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzales. The book’s intro adds: “In slightly fantastical settings, Gonzales illustrates very real guilt over small and large marital missteps, the intense desire for the reinvention of self, and the powerful urges we feel to defend and provide for the people we love.” Also starring Zoe Lister-Jones, Sofia Rosinsky, O-T Fagbenle, Sian Clifford, Ronny Chieng, Aasif Mandvi, Rong Fu, and Tricia Black. Looking good so far but definitely need to see more footage.

Marriage gets hilariously complicated in The Miniature Wife a moder comedy drama series on Peacock, when Lindy (Elizabeth Banks) is unexpectedly shrunk in a technological mishap, much to the surprise of her husband Les, played by Matthew Macfadyen.
